Sports and exercise have always been part of Amy’s life. Growing up in Northville, MI there wasn’t a sport she didn’t enjoy gymnastics, basketball, cross-country, and track. Upon graduating from high school where she ran track and was planning on pursuing this dream her interest shifted from her sport to overall fitness training, and the science behind it. Amy graduated from Michigan State University with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and minor in Nutrition. In addition to school she has received her personal training certification from American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), along with NESTA – CPT/Pilates, and Spinning.
“A regular fitness program along with an overall healthy lifestyle is a very important part of my life.” In which Amy has demonstrated this by competing in numerous figure competitions through the National Physique Committee (NPC). Just recently in 2012 she competed in the largest show in Michigan where she placed top 5 and became Jr. nationally qualified. As a wife, mother, ex-athlete, and business owner Amy understands and believes that a good fitness program must be FUN, but well organized. That is where her experience with a wide range of clientele (i.e. children, athletes, seniors, and post-therapy) and a strong educational background join together in helping her design the right program for you.“No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours. It is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”
